Biography
Tom Thaddaeus, who has worked with some of the World's greatest Reggae groups such as Bob Marley's Wailers Band, is a gifted multi-instrumentalist, singer and one of Switzerland's most outstanding composers and performers. Born in Nigeria, raised in Ghana, Thaddaeus has emerged as the creator of a new World Beat music melange that he has appropriately named “Swagga Reggae.”
TopSwagga Music -- a mix of African Syncopation, Afro-Jazz, and Reggae-Rock, demonstrates Thaddaeus' roots, unadulterated style of music and very topical lyrics that recalls the everlasting poverty in Africa and it's dreadful ghettos.

2001 “Mama Deh” CD. A breathtaking 10 song, up-tempo reggae showcase for Thaddaeus' talent, features besides the Wailers, top reggae musicians: Dean Frazier (alto and tenor saxophone), Bobby Ellis (trumpet, courtesy Burning Spear Music) , Barry Biley (trombone), Bongo Herman (percussion), with back up harmony by Peter Tosh singers; Cynthia Schloss, Pamela Hall and Judy Emmanuel. Bob Marley's Wailers served as backup band on Thaddaeus' “Mama Deh” CD, which was recorded in Kingston, Jamaica in 1986 and remixed at London's Matrix studios, London in 2000. Tom Thaddaeus has Sign up more than 100 compositions with SUISA (Copyright Organization of Switzerland).
New CD “Bridge Me Up” . 10 song CD was recorded by Thaddaeus and his London-based band including work by well known reggae producer, Iauwata MD, Jazzbo, and famed drummer, Gabby. Performed and recorded at London's Matrix, Staple Yard, Channel Sea, and Lion Roots Studios. Mixed in Matrix and mastered in Dump Digital, Switzerland. The tracks on Bridge me up are quite varied in style, a bracing mix of lovers-rock, Afro-beat and Roots-Reggae.
