HOW TO BECOME A POPSTAR: A&R INSIDER TIPS
-  Read what the psychologist say:

The psychological aspect

You must set your goal at becoming a pop star or you will never become one.

You need to practice what it takes to become a pop star.

Do not be distracted by those who say you are a wishful-thinker or be discouraged by those who mocked you for believing that your dream of becoming the next successful artist is an illusion, a daydream, or very distant. It could happen, because nobody was born with a microphone in the hand. The right support could make it happen.

Avoid excessive self-criticism and self-abnegation. If you don't have confidence in yourself, who will?

Imagining your goal to be just a distance or a mile or two away from you could help you take control of many abstract thoughts, which when left unchecked or subdued, could present major hindrance and impede self-confidence.

Start working towards whatever goal you set, and remember that, mere seeing yourself as the next Britney Spears could be misleading; you must work hard as she did. Again, remember we are not hypnotizing. In hypnosis you go into trance - here it's the opposite; you need to be fully awake, aware, and conscious of the competition. Be convinced of your career choice. You don't need to read further, if  at this point you are still undecided. We offer guidance through artist counseling. Our experienced-musicians-team will walk you through building self-confidence. Click here to subscribe to artists/musicians resources. Your success is our goal! The first competitor is yourself, your thoughts, so worry about that now; there is no need to worry about the "Jacksons" in music business yet.

Do you play any musical instrument or sing? If your answer is no, then it is advisable to try out something (e.g. singing, piano, guitar, flute etc.). This will help you figure out how to compose a song and know which instrument you feel most comfortable playing. It's quite helpful when it comes to composing your own songs.

Listen to what other artists in your music genre are doing, make assessment, be innovative, and improve on what you learned from watching. When your work is original and effective, you distinguish yourself from the masses. Avoid imitation, as this could limit your success; stay original.

Compose your own songs, be closer to musicians that have experience and ask questions. Test your ability in public and observe public reaction. Do not let a negative public reaction become a discouragement. Be prepared to make corrections and avoid resting only on your personal judgments.

Inform yourself about what is going on with music around you. Attend live shows and be part of the music scene until you find your platform.

Work above average.

Work on your personality and public appearance. Practice giving speech and lectures.

Do daily exercises to prevent you from becoming logy.

Learn acting. Why? Life is acting. By creating impressions, we express ourselves.
